I took this photograph at Fistral Beach with a low summer sun in the sky, casting beautiful soft colour across the beach. When the tide goes out at Fistral beach, it leaves large rocks uncovered at each end of the beach. As the tide moves in and out, the sea disturbs the sand around the base of the rocks, creating deep sandy rock pools. The low sun in this picture and the stunning golds and purples created by the light have been beautifully reflected in one of these pools at North Fistral.
