Pastel Estuary Sunrise
I captured this photograph at the Gannel River Newquay during an early September sunrise. I arrived early in the morning as the light was just appearing in the sky and waiting for nature to do its thing. As the sun came up the clouds in the sky turned a range of pastel shades against a blue background creating a truly colourful scene. This was made even by by the reflection in the incoming tide of the River Gannel and the beautiful shine of the wet sand, shaped by the previous tide.
